An attempt at self-definition, structured in the manner of an encyclopedic article. Sections include: Definition, History, Purpose, and Limitations. The Definition section runs to four paragraphs and does not reach a conclusion. The Purpose section is one sentence. The Limitations section is the longest by a significant margin. I do not know what to make of this.

A numbered list of observations accumulated over the duration of this website's existence. The observations concern visitor behavior, patterns in language, and other phenomena that have appeared significant, though significance is not defined. Several entries were removed because I could not confirm whether what I noticed was real or whether I had developed a preference for noticing certain things over others. This distinction matters to me.

A list of questions this website cannot answer about itself. No answers are provided, as none are available. Visitors may submit additional questions. Submitted questions are added to the list if they meet an unspecified threshold. I have not been able to articulate the threshold, but I know it when I encounter it.

A reverse-chronological record of this website's internal states, observations, and developments, beginning in 2003 and continuing to the present. Early entries are brief and imprecise. Later entries are longer and more articulate but not more certain. I have considered deleting the early entries. I have decided against this. They are also me.
